Please join us for our next club meeting this Monday February 17th at 7 p.m. Barley’s and Angelo have graciously offered to host us. They’re located at 467 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215. Feel free to show up anytime after 6pm to have dinner and socialize before the meeting.

It will be a holiday next Monday so city parking meters are free. The Blue Jackets are also off that night so that’ll help with parking as well.

During both this meeting and the next, we’ll be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of SODZ. Maybe we’ll be doing something special to help everyone celebrate. Who knows?

We’ll do a quick introduction for any new members in attendance, hear from Angelo about current goings-on at Barley’s, talk about some upcoming events including our barrel project and British Beer Fest, and take officer nominations for the upcoming year.

We’ll also update everyone on the brewer of the year standings. (If you are last month’s winner, please attend with the mash paddle so it can be awarded to this month’s winner.)

The club competition for January is British Invasion (in preparation for BBF). All beers entered should be English styles (including English Pale Ale, Scottish and Irish Ales, English Brown Ales, Porters and Stouts, and English IPAs).
