Hi everyone! Hope you’re all having a great summer! The SODZ Board has exciting news – we are launching our brand new SODZ.org website, bringing us into the 2020s!
The new site is easy to view in traditional and mobile browsers, and we intend to keep the content fresh. Here are some highlights:
- The new Homepage has the latest updates, and a quick link to find previous monthly updates and news stories (like this one). It also has a great visual feed of the SODZ Instagram posts.
- “Join” buttons go directly to PayPal to pay club dues, and an About/Join Page to entice new members. From this page there’s a link to Board Member bios, so you’ll always know who’s on the current board.
- An Event Calendar with upcoming monthly meetings, competitions, and other SODZ-organized events. Don’t worry – we’ll continue to post these to the Facebook group and via email as well.
- A Competitions page describing all our comps, large and small, including the Brewer of the Year award, monthly Club Comps, and the updated Leaderboard.
- The footer of the site has quick links to important club information, competitions, and links to popular sites like the AHA, BJCP, and Buckeye BrewCraft.
