January Meeting

Thanks to everyone who braved the cold last night!  And special thanks to Trevor for hosting us at The Grove City Brewing production facility.  

Here’s a quick recap of everything we covered:

• Upcoming Elections
  • We are taking nominations for board positions
    • President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director 
  • ALL positions are accepting nominations
    • 3 vacancies due to expiring terms: Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Director 
  • If you are considering joining the board, or you would like to nominate someone, feel free to speak to a current or former board member about the role(s)
  • Nominations are due by our March Meeting
  • Elections will be held at our April Meeting
• Board Retreat Update – the board met at Barley’s recently for a detailed review of a few items:
  • Bylaws update to modernize language
    • For example, update to remove references to the published newsletter
    • Discuss with club prior to Feb meeting (notice sent on or by 2/9)
  • SOPs for recurring tasks/board responsibilities

• SODZ 30th Anniversary Glasses
  • These will continue to be available at meetings for pick-up
